Let’s be honest for a second because you won’t find to much “honesty” from the companies you have signed up for to build your downline. The “rah rah” methods they’re going to teach you just don’t work. Those meetings are designed like that for a specific purpose and that’s to get you excited about the company and to get your adrenalin going. These companies run off of numbers and by getting everyone worked up into a frenzy and feeling like they can take on the world, they do pull their numbers as a company as a whole. It’s the distributors that get hurt in the long run. Let’s look at what happens most of the time:

Most people pay any where between 500 to $1000 to join any particular network. Then of course you have the monthly autoship that will run your close to $100.00 depending on the company. Now you are mostly left out in the cold to run out and tell every single person you know about how great this company is, what it’s doing for your lifestyle and how much money they can make by joining this opportunity. Sound familiar?

But what happens when you run out of your “warm list” and you have no one else to talk to about your opportunity? Are you supposed to just start grabbing strangers on the street? Depending on the company, they may tell you that you are getting some great training and that as long as you follow it you’re going to be fine. I just laugh when I hear this stuff because the numbers don’t lie. Most people will never make one dime in this industry and almost all of those will wind up LOSING money from their so called “incredible opportunity”.
